The Graphic Designer will develop visually engaging and informative graphical content to support the completion of branding and the development of communication materials outlined to be delivered under the thematic areas of EDUCO’s program in close collaboration with the Communication and Advocacy Officer.

Primary Responsibilities
Based on the above scope of work, the Graphic Designer will be responsible for the following tasks:

1. Graphics and Illustrations
• Develop custom graphics, illustrations, and infographics that effectively communicate complex concepts related to Educo’s thematic areas
• Craft visuals that simplify intricate ideas and enhance the overall comprehensibility of the objective of the project
• Ensure that graphics and illustrations are accurate and contextually relevant

2. Layout and Formatting
• Organize the content within all visibility in a logical and coherent manner
• Create layouts that ore visually appealing, easy to navigate, and optimize the overall user experience
• Pay attention to typography, spacing, and consistency in formatting to enhance readability

3. Branding
• Maintain strict adherence to EDUCO’s branding guidelines throughout all design work
• Ensure that the visual identity aligns with the established branding to establish a consistent and professional appearance
• Use approved color palettes, fonts, and logos to reinforce the EDUCO’s visual identity

4. Revision and Feedback
• Incorporate feedback and revisions as necessary to meet project requirements and deadlines
• Actively engage with feedback from project stakeholders and incorporate revisions as necessary
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to meet project requirements and adhere to established deadlines
• Collaborate closely with the project team to address any design-related concerns or adjustments

Duration and Location
The Consultant will work November 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024. Consultations will be done face-to-face and virtually.

Work Arrangement
The Consultant will work closely with and under the direct supervision of the Communication and Advocacy Officer in delivering the required services. Operational support will be provided to the Consultant during the consultancy period. The consultant will report onsite from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for face-to-face consultation and a comprehensive revert for comments.

Qualifications
• At least a graduate degree in communication arts, digital illustration, and animation or relevant courses.
• Knowledgeable in graphic arts
• With a developing professional portfolio
